Edit: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
We will meet in our classroom at 9 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. tomorrow morning (Thursday, Sept. 25). That will let you be a little more awake for our field trip. We'll work on the restaurant review outlines and such from 9-9:40, take a quick break, and then head over to the train and into the city.
Reading and Analysis
Read the following four restaurant reviews and analyze them by filling out the Restaurant Review Analysis form.
1. Andria's Countryside Restaurant
2. Salt
3. Gooey Louie's
4. Chubbies
Writing
Write a one-paragraph review of your assigned food item. Bring your review to class. You may be called upon to read it aloud, so make it good!
Field Trip Preparation
Examine the Lunch Menu for Mango and decide which items you're most interested in trying. You may also want to research Peruvian food to get some background knowledge of it and be ready to be an informed consumer.
Pack a writing utensil and something to write on during the restaurant visit. You won't remember enough details if you don't take notes during your visit.
Also, make arrangements for any work that you will miss during our field trip.
