Writing
Complete the final draft of your advertising analysis and submit it via email or in print in class.
Your final draft must be at least 1200 words long. Your essay will be evaluated on the depth and detail of your analysis, your demonstration of critical thinking, your use of evidence to support your argument, and the strength of the argument itself. Your work will also be evaluated on general writing skills of organization, clarity of expression, grammar, punctuation, and style.
Reading
Following Fall Break, we will begin our unit on research-based writing. Read p. 78-101 in Envision and Chapter 8 in Transition to College Writing and begin identifying topics that you'd like to learn more about.
